WATCH: Amazing Tiger Story from the TaylorMade Truck

Another great Tiger story has surfaced today from the Taylormade team truck.

Tiger is very specific about the equipment he uses – there is a famous tale about him being able to feel a 2-gram difference between driver shaft weights. This time, it’s tees.

During the British Open, Tiger needed some more tees.

The Taylormade truck based in Europe didn’t have the right amount of old-style short tees that Tiger likes to use. Panic ensued.

A production line quickly formed, with the guys in the truck grinding 100 longer tees down to the ideal length, with another guy in the assembly line shaping them to the right template. The two options were, to tell Tiger to use a different tee – or get to work!

Another all-time Tiger tidbit, for sure.
