WATCH: PGA TOUR Short Drive Competition is Pure Comedy!

Everyone has heard of a long drive contest whether it is in a tournament at your local course, between your weekend foursome, or on the many Capital One The Match’s. But have you heard of a short drive contest?

PGA Tour players Joel Dahmen, Harry Higgs, and Pat Perez took part in this competition.

Did you see that first attempt by Dahmen? Check it out again, he hit the ball six inches on a full driver swing!

The 2021 Corales Puntacana Championship winner doesn’t hit the ball the furthest off the tee on Tour, but he certainly can still blast the ball out there averaging 292.3 yards on his drives during the 2020-2021 season.

Now we all have topped the ball before off the tee and our buddies have a good laugh at us but we don’t try to do it on purpose.

The amount of skill it must take to hit the ball six inches off a full driver swing on purpose is just another example of just how good the PGA Tour players truly are at every aspect of the game.

Even the ones that us hacks do without trying t0o.
