For those who might not know, Rick Shields is a former PGA professional golfer turned extremely popular YouTube personality. Shields’ instructional days have given way to interesting golf video content such as celebrity match play, collaborations with others such as Good Good, and novelty matches that keep interest throughout. Shields even secured clubs from COSTCO and rated their effectiveness and value.

Random Golf Club is a community of golfers of all skill levels that meet up and introduce others to the great game of golf. Routinely, Lang enlists other golfers of ranging handicaps to play famous courses. His relatable banter and openness make the videos inclusive and fun.

In one of the more recent collaborations between Random Golf Club and Rick Shields saw both participating in a 100 person simultaneous golf group playing a hole together at The Shire, London. Admittedly, it looks like a total blast.

Shields focuses on minor tweaks and fixes that even viewers can implement for a better strike. First, shields adjusted Lang’s grip to show two knuckles and a stronger grip with the top hand. Next, the takeaway adjusts to the new grip to have the club face pointing down at parallel. Finally, well… I don’t want to give it all away. Check out the full video here:
