Wife Of The Year Nominee Builds Swilken Bridge at Home

Imagine for a second that you have to travel halfway across the world for a work conference. At first the thought of this might suck but then think about this:

The conference is in Scotland and you get to turn that work trip into a four day buddy golf trip that includes St. Andrews! Only downside is it’s 2020 where nothing goes right and all good things get canceled.

That’s what happens to one guy out East. Lucky for him his wife just turned this crappy situation into one awesome birthday.

Ronnie Colaianni was able to join the same buddy he was supposed to have the golf trip with for a member/guest tournament followed by 36 holes the next day. That’s not the best part.

When he got home his wife had turned their basement into the 18th hole at the old course, complete with the a bridge and everything!

If that wasn’t enough, she even had a nice Scottish welcome package for him that had some Scottish soda, salted caramel and of course a bottle of Scottish Whiskey.

This is an all star move by this guys wife. She knew what a big deal that trip would have been and she recreated it as best as she could with the COVID society we live in.

Hats off to this mans wife. She’s got my vote!

Ed started playing golf when he was 18. It started out as a hobby and something he liked to do but by 2014 it had turned into a full blown obsession. Since then Ed has committed himself to improving and learning more about the game. He doesn’t work in the golf industry, he’s not a teaching pro, he’s a guy who just loves the game and enjoys sharing his thoughts with others who share the same passion.
