Woods’ Ex-Girlfriend, Allegedly ‘Tricked’ Out of Tiger’s Home, Files Suit Over NDA

In October, Tiger Woods’ then-girlfriend of around five years packed a bag and left on a short vacation.

Before returning to his home that she lived in, Erica Herman was informed that Woods was breaking off the relationship, and she was “no longer welcome” in the Jupiter, Florida, mansion.

The above allegations that she was “tricked” into leaving her home before being locked out is part of a lawsuit she filed against a trust that was established by Tiger Woods.

As part of her lawsuit against the trust filed in October, she claimed that five years remained on an “oral tenancy agreement” for her being able to live at Woods’ mansion at the time she was locked out.

Separately, Herman filed a civil suit in Florida against Woods this week, looking to have a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) she signed in 2017 nullified.

She claims that the NDA is “not judicially enforceable in this case under the federal Speak Out Act.”

That law states an NDA can’t be enforced in a dispute involving sexual assault or sexual harassment.

As part of the lawsuit, a four-page form with questions answered by her attorney, Benjamin Hodas, was provided. One of the questions read, “Does this case involve allegations of sexual abuse?”

Hodas simply responded, “Yes.”

The suit against Woods seeks to nullify the NDA, while the lawsuit against the trust seeks monetary damages.

Attorneys for both Woods and Herman have not yet spoken publicly.

On Thursday, Rachel Uchitel—who was involved in a controversy with Woods regarding martial infidelity in 2009 and ’10—spoke about her experiences in signing an NDA with the legendary golfer.

That information came out after Woods’ infamous overnight car crash in his Orlando-area neighborhood over Thanksgiving 2019 in an incident involving his ex-wife, Elin.
