Keep Your Game Hot with ORORO Heated Apparel
Golfers will look for every opportunity to tee it up with the guys. And while calm, sunny conditions are the ideal, windy, rain and cold rarely deter us. The less than ideal conditions, however, can detract from the experience and, even worse, compromise our ability to play.
Founded in 2015, ORORO is a brand that started in the Midwest with the idea of making a jacket that can provide warmth on even the coldest days of the year—but doesn’t break the bank.

Since then, ORORO has grown from jackets to vests, fleeces, sweatshirts, pants, gloves, scarves and seat cushions, all of which are heated. Indeed, regardless which of ORORO’s catch your attention, all are equipped with their Mini 5K battery that are fully charged in 4 hours, feature up to 10 hours of battery life (on low heat setting, or 3 hours on high), and can be used to charge phones (or other accessories).

Cold weather during early spring and the past few weeks has been significantly more bearable this year with the water and wind resistant Heated Golf Jacket (with Zip-Off Sleeves). Indeed, now that I’ve finally found a rhythm with my game, the last thing I want to do is pack in the clubs and wait until spring arrives. But the only way to guarantee a full-18 means getting up early with the dew sweepers, and with that dressing in thicker layers to keep warm during the pre-round range session and first few holes.
But with ORORO, you can ditch a layer and—most importantly—get some warmth back in your body, rather than turning yourself into the Michelin Man with thermal leggings and long sleeves, quarter-zips, windproof jackets and beanie hats. Indeed, whether I’ve been walking or riding with the ORORO, I’ve actually been able to shed layers while playing, specifically when I go to take a shot. By ditching the heavy outer-layer, I am able to move for like when I normally play, i.e., fast and free, for 15-30 seconds. And while I watch the ball (hopefully) head towards it’s intended target, I can quickly zip back up to warm up before the next swing.

While this shouldn’t be revolutionary, it’s truly made early spring and late fall golf significantly more enjoyable (which is already hard enough with the leftover snow and wet leaves). Like I alluded to, when I’ve previously played during these times of year, it required me to mentally convince myself that it’s worth compromising performance and comfort for the sake of layering up for the entire round. But that’s now a thing of the past (and I could only imagine adding ORORO’s heated gloves to the mix).

What hand warmers does for your fingers, an ORORO heated golf jacket will do the same for your upper body. Gone are the days of getting stiff from the cold or trying to hide from that gust of wind to try and salvage the last bit of body warmth. With a full charge (or backup batteries), an ORORO can keep you warm during those early spring/late fall rounds and, for the super dedicated, winter range sessions.
