If You Want These Mizuno Pro Masters Edition Irons, You’ll Have To Go To Japan
If you want these Mizuno Pro 241 Irons that are complete with a color-changing, but predominantly green finish, and yellow paint fill with Masters insignia, you’ll have to fly to Japan.
Mizuno is releasing a Masters Edition of its Pro 241 Irons, and they’re the perfect set for the biggest fans of the first Major Championship of the year. Surprisingly, Japan’s only Masters Champion does not play Mizuno irons, as Hideki Matsuyama, who won the 2021 Masters, plays Srixon.
But Mizuno is still putting out these beautiful Masters-themed blades for ¥269,500, or about $1,894.00.
According to MyGolfSpy, which exclusively reported on the new Mizuno Masters Irons, these are being limited to the Japanese market and are limited to one per customer:
- Color-changing finish that looks different depending on lighting conditions
- Dynamic Gold S200 shaft (custom Azalea shaft band)
- Full set (4-9, PW)
- Limit 1 per customer
- Includes special iron headcover
- Reserve online or at select Mizuno Japan stores
- Custom Golf Pride Grips

One thing is for certain: these are, without a doubt, some very clean irons. Why Japan gets them exclusively is probably due to the fact that Mizuno is based out of the country, but we U.S.-based Masters fans are feeling the FOMO.
Reservations for the irons officially closed yesterday, which is a shame. However, we’ll be waiting for a set to come around on eBay or perhaps another golf trading forum, and we’re sure they’ll reach some ridiculous price, as they should.
The Mizuno Pro 241 is primarily geared toward elite players and is Mizuno’s most-played model on Tour:
“The latest iteration of this time-tested muscle-back is updated with a thinner, tour-preferred topline and more compact scoring irons. Strategically located, enhanced center mass marries perfectly with Mizuno’s precision forging process and a soft copper underlay, delivering the legendary feel the company is renowned for.”
It features a thinner topline for a more compact look, and a narrower cambered sole was requested by players during testing.
