Greyson Partners with Jon Rahm, Legion XIII GC
A few weeks ago, we noted that numerous brands are starting to warm up to LIV teams, announcing sponsorships.
For example, Reebok has partnered with Bryson DeChambeau and his LIV team, Crushers GC, while Ian Poulter’s Majesticks GC announced its new apparel sponsorship with Castore Sportswear, a British premium sportswear company with a stronger presence in European football, cricket, rugby, and Formula One.
And less than a week after Rahm announced the signing of DP World Tour golfer Tom McKibbin, they’ve followed it up with the announcement of a new apparel sponsor:

Greyson Clothiers, a premium apparel brand that was once tied to Charlie Woods, has announced that it will be sponsoring both Rahm and Legion XIII.
The announcement comes with a selection of Legion-branded Greyson pieces, including the Cokato Hoodie, Guide Short Sleeve Tee, Sequoia Joggers, and Guide Quarter-Zip, and new colors in top Greyson pieces.
The Greyson-Legion announcement is merely the most recent (sizable) wave in the rising tsunami of brands that are warming up to LIV. Whether this is the result of the PGA Tour and DP World Tour giving the PIF a pass (in the form of the attempted but unfinalized combination effort), or Fox Sports announcing a multi-year arrangement with LIV is unclear.
But to some degree, does it really even matter? What is clear is that despite PGA Tour Commissioner Monahan and divisive commentator Brandel Chamblee’s less than glowing statements about the alternative golf league, it’s continued to stand its ground and demonstrate that—on the eve of its fourth season—it’s here to stay.
