PGA TOUR 2K21: Return of the People’s Golf Video Game
While the COVID pandemic has certainly caused a significant disruption to the 2019–2020 PGA Tour, including, among others, the delay of the 2020 Masters until November 12th through 15th.
Fortunately, however, it seems like golf is coming back in full force very, very soon.

Indeed, Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson are bringing back “The Match” for an encore—entitled “The Match: Champions for Charity“, to benefit COVID-19 relief efforts—and, instead, will be teaming up with Peyton Manning and Tom Brady, respectively.
Although the course has not been officially announced, Round 2 is expected to air on TNT before the end of May.

Similarly, TaylorMade will be hosting the “Driving Relief” event on May 17th at the Seminole Golf Club in Florida, which will pit Rory McIlroy and Dustin Johnson against Rickie Fowler and Matthew Wolff in a charity skins match to be televised on NBC Sports and Sky Sports. Notably, it was recently announced that the guys will all be carrying their bags during the event (just like most of us have recently been forced to).

While this alone could help fill most golf enthusiasts’ appetite, the National Golf Foundation reports that, as of week ending May 3rd, 79% of U.S. golf courses were open for play, up from 58% the prior week. While some states are still holding back, like Massachusetts and Vermont, this is great news just so people can get outside, get some exercise and support their local course during this challenging time.
However, competition golf won’t be TV June and we’re gonna need something to do on rainy days or when you can’t lock down a tee time.
PGA TOUR 2K21 Teaser – Full Details 5/14
PGA TOUR 2K21 is coming soon! Stay tuned for full details on 5/14.
2K Sports is preparing to fill the void left by the Tiger Woods PGA Tour Golf video games and release PGA Tour 2K21. While additional details won’t be released until May 14th, it appears that one thing is certain: TPC Sawgrass is on the course list.
While The Golf Club, another golf game also developed by 2K, has made an attempt to satisfy our cravings, it doesn’t feature any PGA Tour players. Presumably, PGA Tour 2K21 will look to remedy this and give you the chance to take control of Wolff’s unconventional swing, crush drives (and Majors) like Koepka and do the impossible like Tiger.
