A Tour Player Just Made an Eagle on a 728 Yard Par 5
Korn Ferry Tour player Erik Barnes said he would have probably bet the house that he wouldn’t have made eagle on the mammoth 728 Yard par 5 at TPC Colorado. And it’s a good thing he didn’t…
When talking about his incredible Eagle, Erik Barnes was very laid back and sounded like he stole a cookie from the cookie jar. He went on to say that, “Well, that will be the only time I’ll do that.”

Sitting at 728 yards, this is the longest hole currently on any PGA Tour Sanctioned tournament at 728 yards. Erik seemed absolutely astonished by his feat in the post round interview. A bit of luck and and a whole lot of skill got Barnes his eagle, 3 as he still needed to connect an eagle putt.
It’s a shame we don’t know the exact numbers of how far he hit each shot. If you go on the Korn Ferry Tour Leaderboard you will see the shot-by-shot analysis is quite vague and doesn’t give specific details.
Regardless it was an outstanding eagle for Erik Barnes!
