Actively Recover On & Off the Course with STAMINAPRO Patches
Every, and I actually mean every, golfer at some point or another has dealt with aches and pains that interfere with their enjoyment of the game.
Indeed, Titleist Performance Institute analyzed more than 31,000 golfers and found that approximately 30% of them were experiencing lower back pain after every round. Likewise, elbow tendonitis (a.k.a., “golfer’s elbow”) is an all-too-common growing pain lots of us deal with at the beginning of the golf season when we’re beating large buckets off of range mats.
Traditionally, the easiest way to deal with these kinds of pain usually involve some combination of icy-hot, stretching, or taking an extended break. And since we’ve all dealt with this, I think we all can agree that it sucks when these things prevent you from playing your best.

STAMINAPRO patches feature a unique combination of 200 natural constituents known to reduce inflammation, including (among 100s of others) Amino Acids, BCCAs, Green Tea Extract, L-Glutamine, Leucine, Magnesium, Omega-3s, and Tumeric. After peeling off the adhesive (similar to a band-aid), each patch delivers STAMINAPRO’s secret sauce to help reduce inflation and, ultimately, faster recovery, which explains why you’ve probably seen Justin Rose, Tony Finau, Cameron Champ and Rory McIlroy all wearing STAMINAPRO patches. Indeed, when Finau dislocated his ankle during the Masters Par 3 contest in 2018, he attributed STAMINAPRO as a big part of what helped him push through the injury (and fire off a 4-under 68 in the first round of the Masters the very next day):

As I initially stated, every golfer suffers from aches and pains. Mine happens to be lower back pain. While I’ve started working with fitness professionals in the hopes of undoing years of poor posture and lifting technique, I’ve tried everything imaginable to relieve myself of any pre-round backpain. Icy-Hot, Biofreeze, Tiger Balm, even using an electronic stim machine when things got really bad. But the sad truth is that none of them worked as effectively as I wished. While the different balms worked immediately after applying, they often came with a very strong menthol scent and either lost their effectiveness before I finished the front 9 or completely wore off after working up a sweat. Likewise, the stim machine got annoying with all the wires running in and out of my pockets and shirts, and that’s presuming that the stim pads stayed on long enough after a few, full swings.
In contrast, the STAMINAPRO patches have worked the entire time and have never lost effectiveness or fallen off, despite whether I’m playing golf, working out in the gym, or even showering. Notably, the STAMINAPRO patches are designed to work for 24-hours, which is great since you can apply the patch the night before and, while you recover in your sleep, wake up feeling refreshed and ready to perform at your peak.
Indeed, my first experience with STAMINAPRO started the night before my round. While watching some TV, I peeled open the Strip Patch and set it across my entire lower back. While I didn’t feel any immediate sensation, I woke up the next morning absent any lower back pain or tightness. Normally, I spend 15-20 minutes foam rolling and with surgical bands, and while I’m certainly not swearing off pre-round stretching, this was easily the best I’ve felt for a round of golf after arriving at the golf course.

And as I briefly mentioned, this feeling didn’t diminish through the round. Despite playing in cooler (high 50s/low 60s) conditions and relaxing in the cart between a few holes, my back stayed fresh and loose throughout the entire round.
Perhaps the only warning I would share was something I learned during my initial testing, post-round ritual. While the Strip Patch continued to remain on during my shower, taking it off turned out to be a little painful. This is certainly a testament to STAMINAPRO’s claims that you do any athletic activity, including swimming, and not worry about constantly having to press the patch back on. However, I overlooked STAMINAPRO’s own recommendation: gently touch the adhesive a few times after peeling to help reduce the stickyness before applying. After following their own secret, I did not experience similar issues with the patches being too sticky and tough to get off.
Otherwise, I would like to just note two things. First, STAMINAPRO isn’t an instant, on-the-spot solution. Indeed, if you know you’re doing something athletic and want to reduce inflammation or soreness, put it on in advance like I did. This ensures that STAMINAPRO is fully-effective when you need it. Secondly, you can NOT cut STAMINAPRO patches. Indeed, doing so will actually reduce their effectiveness. Fortunately, STAMINAPRO patches come in three different sizes—Medium (1.5”x2.75”), Large (2.75”x4”) and Strip Patch (2″ x 10″)—to help address the whole range of areas, from smaller areas like your elbow or the bottom of your foot, to much larger areas like your back.
In sum, I’ve tossed the Bengay out of my golf and gym bags and, instead, replaced it with STAMINAPRO patches to address any aches or pains and help ensure that I don’t let anything hold me back on the golf course or at my workouts. Indeed, whether I decided to double-up and play 36 in a single day or hit the gym and follow it up with some simulator time, the STAMINAPRO patches have allowed me to perform my best and feel ready the entire time.
