Anthony Kim is making his LIV debut on March 1, but the Pro Am is today meaning we’re going to get a look into what AK may be playing this weekend.

Many may forget that when AK left competitive golf in 2012, Nike was still making equipment and AK, as a member of Team Nike, was playing Nike VR Pro metalwoods, irons and wedges.
But have times changed. Nike abruptly exited the equipment space during August 2016, and left their equipment partners scrambling to find new partnerships. So now the big question has become with AK returning to competitive golf, what 14 clubs is he going to trust to help him play the best he can.

Titleist. From head to toe, all 14 of AK’s clubs for the LIV Jeddah Pro Am are from Titleist, and complement by a Titleist golf ball (it remains unconfirmed if it is a Pro V1, Pro V1x or some other model).
Starting at the top end, AK has a TSR3 driver and TSR2 3-wood. Both are paired with Fujikura Ventus shafts. Rather than a 7-wood or hybrid, AK’s electing to play a driving iron—a Titleist T200, also paired with a Ventus shaft—that is further complemented by a T100 4-iron and 620 MBs from 5 through Pitching Wedge. To make sure his short game is ready for whatever it encounters, AK has turned to Bob Vokey for his SM10s in 50, 52 and 58 lofts. The irons and wedges are each paired with True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue S400 shafts.

And to make sure those birdie putts falls, AK has asked Scotty Cameron for a T22 Teryllium Newport 2 Prototype—similar to the putter gamed by defending-PGA Champion Brooks Koepka.
Also like Koepka (and Tiger Woods), AK’s full swing clubs are wrapped with Golf Pride Tour Velvet Cords.

For those that really want to dive into things, it appears that Kim is remaining faithful to Nike has he’s been spotted in their footwear in recent, including what appear to be special edition Jordan IVs.

What’s most noteworthy for me is that the swagger is still there and in full strength. It’s great to see that he’s keeping things light, so let’s wish the comeback kid some good luck in his return.
