Augusta National ALREADY Looks Prepared for The Masters After Hurricane Disaster
Augusta National Golf Club Chairman Fred Ridley said that after the disaster of Hurricane Helene, The Masters would still take place in the middle of April.
Many saw satellite images of the course and thought the claim was ridiculous.
Considering the number of trees that had fallen onto what many consider to be one of the more pristine golf courses during the professional golf season, it seemed like maintenance and grounds crew members would be working day and night until April to get things prepared for the first Major Championship of the year.
However, new images seem to show that the course already looks prepared for The Masters, as the clean-up looks to be well underway and nearly complete:
🔥💚⛳️ Don’t call it a comeback…
Cue the haters insisting we didn’t capture this today—in 3, 2, 1 🙄

Pictured above are 11 Green (top) and 12 Green (lower), along with Rae’s Creek running in front of the elusive Par 3. These are a stark comparison to what the course looked like just a week prior:

The big question is: is it even a surprise?
Augusta National is in incredible shape year in and year out, and not even a half-year delay due to COVID could keep the course from looking incredible back in 2020.
We should have known the crew there would have things in order in just a matter of days or weeks.
