Brandel Chamblee: LIV Golfers Should Be Removed From Hall of Fame

The LIV should be around for a while. It’s successfully acquired top names and after its first tournament, the buzz is still going strong.

The LIV is pushing the golf world into an uncomfortable position because it’s creating competition for the PGA Tour and many people don’t like it. Clearly, Brandel is not a fan of any of this.

As far as I know, it’s never happened that an athlete has been kicked out of their Hall Of Fame but both Norman & Mickelson should be removed from the Hall Of Fame. They’ve dishonored the game & they threaten to destroy the game that they have both so enormously profited from.

My take on this tweet is to just chill out Brandel. “Dishonored the game” because they have a personal view of the PGA Tour and they wanted something different? The LIV tour is not without its faults. I’m not going to get into the human rights issues because frankly, it’s outside my world of knowledge.

Looking at this from a golf fan perspective, this is good for the game. More golf equals more fun for fans. Do you think Norman and Phil should be kicked out of the golf hall of fame or left in because they earned their place?

Totally agree with Chamblee – and the recent interviews with Rory, Jon, & Brooks! LIV is enticing to the “never-will be” and greedy, egotistical, self-centered “over the hill” has-been chocking losers with “love of money” – as opposed to love of THE GAME! Francis Ouimet & Bobby Jones must be ashamed and embarrassed to see them selling themselves out. At least we dont have to worry about Brandel being removed from the Hall of Fame.
The whole consept of a Hall of Fame is based on Previous Contribution toThis Great Game of Golf.
We would be better off moving on and disregarding the L1V Tour work on things we can improve on to make thisPGA Tour what it is and what it will be in the future.
I love this game but more damage is being done by our Negitive comments and discussions, insulting the compeditors who ventured out.
