Srixon Golf teased about it on Instagram, and less than 24 hours later it is now confirmed that 4-time Major winner and Current World Ranked No. 16 golfer Brooks Koepka has signed a multi-year endorsement deal.

The deal comes just days before Koepka’s Thanksgiving match against (former) rival Bryson DeChambeau, and just before the 2021-22 PGA TOUR season gets fully underway.

Koepka has been gaming Srixon’s ZX7 forged irons, but has kept TaylorMade fairway woods and Titleist wedges in the bag since Nike Golf (Koepka’s last official equipment sponsor) left the equipment market in August 2016.

But with the new deal, Koepka appears to be all in on Srixon/Cleveland products, as his new bag will consist of:

  • Srixon ZX5 driver (9.5°) with a Mitsubishi Diamana D+ 70 TX shaft;
  • Srixon ZX7 forged irons (4 through Pitching Wedge) with True Temper Dynamic Gold TI X100 shafts;
  • Cleveland RTX ZipCore wedges in 52°, 56° and 60° with the “Tour Rack” raw finish and True Temper Dynamic Gold S400 shafts; and
  • Srixon Srixon Z-Star prototype golf ball.

It appears that his Scotty Cameron will remain in the Srixon Tour Staff Bag for the time being, as will his TaylorMade M2 Tour HL (High Launch) 3 Wood (16.5°) (with Mitsubishi Diamana D+ 80 TX shfat) and Nike Vapor Pro (3) Driving Iron (with Fujikura Pro Tour Spec 95 X shaft).

It is particularly interesting that Koepka, who’s had a majority of his success while being an equipment free agent, has tied himself down to any brand.  However, the past few years have been tough and, perhaps, it was time to lock in the support of a major OEM (along with some guaranteed paychecks from a sponsor).

Hopefully Koepka can ride the high from the 2021 Ryder Cup and, with the help of Srixon, return to his prior dominating form.
