Bryson Dechambeau Has Withdrawn From The PGA Championship
Big hitting Bryson is less than 5 weeks removed from wrist surgery. Dechambeau is already trying to give the PGA Championship a go, since his last appearance at the Masters in April.
The 28-year-old seemed to be healing up just fine with his most recent swing video of him hitting a 342-yard drive on the fly! Outstanding for a guy that just went under the knife a month ago.

Bryson arrived at Southern Hills (PGA Championship Course) this week on Monday. He announced on Twitter yesterday (Tuesday) that everything was holding up nicely.
He didn’t want to commit to playing because Bryson wanted to leave his spot for an alternate to take advantage of the opportunity!
Held up nicely today. Lets see what tomorrow brings.

Unfortunately, Bryson has announced that he just quite isn’t ready for tournament play yet just this afternoon. Once he feels 100% again he will be bombing it again on the PGA Tour.
Hopefully, it is a speedy recovery for Bryson Dechambeau to get back in the winner’s circle. It is quite possible we will see the 8-time PGA Tour winner teeing up in the U.S. Open next month in June given the signs of great progress since the surgery.
After careful consideration, I have decided to WD from the @PGAChampionship. I want to make a full return when I am 100% ready to compete at golf’s highest level. Thank you all for the continued support!
