Caddyshack to Corner Office: Bringing Light to Caddy Stories & Their Successes

From successful business people to major golf champions and much more, Caddyshack to Corner Office (CCO) is bringing all stories to life. The unique idea to start CCO was created by Kai Sato, who was a former caddy himself years ago at the prestigious Bel-Air Country Club in Los Angeles. Sato’s ultimate goal is to give back and ensure that the youth may have the same great opportunities he was presented with by working hard.

Impact of Caddying

Kai Sato told me he was quite interested in caddying when he was younger because of his cousins and the perks that came with it. This unique opportunity helped bolster his network at the University of Southern California (USC). In the midst of his new journey, Sato crossed paths with his eventual mentor, Randy Brant, who assisted him in landing his first full-time job. This all led to the many successes that he had in the years to come.

This goes to show that the doors caddying can open are endless when you put your best foot forward.

The Mission

The mission for CCO is to broaden the horizons for the future generations and the current generations of caddies to become acquainted with one another. Since launching in 2020 they have done just that, by teaming up with the Evans Scholar Foundation and the Ouimet Fund. These organizations help deserving caddies receive scholarships from their strong dedication while on the job.

Caddyshack to Corner Office is well on their way to the goal and even more with the building momentum.
