Canadian Teenage Golfer Sinks Two Aces in One Round of Her Club Championship
Move over, Adele.
The world-famous singer has nothing on Adele Sanford of Alberta, Canada.
The 14-year-old has been playing golf for just one year and has done something that surely none of us weekend warriors have done and very few pros have ever accomplished: two holes-in-one in the same round.
Most golfers dream of making a hole-in-one. Adele did it twice today! For real. During club Championships to boot. It’s made for an exciting day around here! ⛳️⛳️⛳️ pic.twitter.com/UqTdwYzGEW

Sanford told Global News in Canada after the feat that this was just her third tournament after taking up golf last August to try and keep up with her competitive friends.
On the 12th hole of the Canmore Golf and Curling Club championship, Sanford hit a ball that landed short of the green but it bounced and rolled right into the cup.
Sanford said:
“I was in shock… Everyone else was jumping around and I was standing there looking at the ball.”
Sanford was the talk of the tournament and all eyes were on her on No. 15. Under a bit of pressure, Sanford went pin hunting.
Sanford recalled:
“I hit that one dead straight and I thought, ‘Holy smokes, that’s going to go in.’ And it did… The first hole-in-one was I felt was kind of lucky. Then the second hole-in-one I just proved myself and I ended up being very happy with that.”
Looking back, the feat has happened three times in PGA Tour history. Brian Harman was the most recent, doing it in 2015 at The Barclays. Yusaku Miyazato accomplished the double at the Reno-Tahoe Open in 2006, and the first one occurred in 1955 when Bill Whedon sunk two in the first round of the Insurance City Open.
