Charles Barkley Inks New Deal with Turner Sports, Ends Talks with LIV Golf
Barkley will be with Turner Sports for the upcoming years. The deal solidified a 10-year deal that is reportedly worth nearly 200 million.
A lot of question marks came up around his name with only three years left on his previous contract and in talks with LIV golf back in June.

Barkley said in an interview on “The Pat McAfee Show”:
“I don’t judge other people… Listen, if someone gave me $200 million, I’d kill a relative. … I’m serious. They said Phil Mickelson got $200 million and Dustin Johnson got $150 million. For $150 million, I’d kill a relative, even one I liked!”
You have to think since Phil and Charles are good friends that, there may have been some dialogue about making the move. When Charles was mulling the idea over back during the summer, he also had this to say about it as well:
Barkley said:
“I have no idea how TNT is going to respond… I don’t even know if they’ll let me do it. I might have to resign from TNT. Some type of broadcasting would be fun. But if I’m gonna have to lose TNT and lose my sponsors, it will have to be something crazy numbers-wise. I’m taking this meeting, I got no idea what Greg’s gonna say to me, but if I’m going to lose TNT and my commercials, it will have to be a ridiculous number for me to move on.”

Even after being in the LIV Golf Bedminster Pro-Am at the end of July, it meant nothing more than a celebrity appearance and playing some golf for the beloved NBA analyst.
However, for now, any more moments will be enjoyed by basketball fans with Inside the NBA and possible special commentary in golf matches between top golfers/celebrities.
