Malbon Golf Just Signed a Big Name on the LPGA Tour
Less than 2 weeks ago, niche golf apparel brand Malbon surprised the golfing world when it decided to make the jump and sign ex-Nike Golfer and former World No. 1 Jason Day to an apparel deal. Day’s Friday outfit (specifically the pants) got a flat of flack, but it didn’t diminish the fact that Malbon—a brand less than 10 years old—had a professional golfer wearing its clothing on national television.
It now seems this commitment to bring attention to the brand isn’t a one-off incident.

Currently World No. 17 Charley Hull is now the second member to join Team Malbon. Hull, who is also a TaylorMade staffer, was previously partnered with Anew Golf, a luxury Korean brand.

On that note, there’s no denying that Hull’s new looks will be a little more controversial than what she’s previously worn. Equally undeniable is that Malbon is undertaking an aggressive (likely expensive) strategy by signing both male and female professional golfers to wear their clothes in order to appeal to all golfers.
The season is, however, very early, and it, therefore, remains entirely possible that more Malbon signings are coming.
