EMOTIONAL: Titleist Staffer Cameron Smith Wins 2020 Sony Open
After a long battle with the weather and Waialae Country Club in Honolulu, Hawaii, Titleist Staffer Cameron Smith was able to bring home the win after defeating Brendan Steele on the first playoff hole.

While the victory launched Smith into fifth in the FedExCup, it appears that victory had even greater emotional value as Smith’s homeland Australia has been plagued with brushfires that are causing excessive damage to the county.

Helping Smith land the victory was a bag full of Titleist gear, including:
- Titleist TS2 Driver (9.5°) with UST Mamiya Elements Platinum 6F5;
- Titleist TS2 3 Wood (15°) with UST Mamiya Elements Platinum 8F5;
- Titleist U500 (3) Driving Iron (20°) with Dynamic Gold AMT White X100;
- Titleist T100 Black (4 through 9 Irons) with Dynamic Gold Tour Issue Black Onyx X100;
- Titleist Vokey SM8 Wedges in 46° (10° Bounce in F Grind), 52° (8° Bounce, F Grind), 56° (8° Bounce, M Grind) and 60° (10° Bounce, S Grind) with
- Dynamic Gold Tour Issue Black Onyx X100 in the 46° and KBS Tour 130X in the 52°, 56° and 60°;
- Scotty Cameron TFB 1.5 Teryllium Putter; and
- Titleist Pro V1x.
And it goes without saying, Smith’s blackout T100s are droolworthy.

Cameron of course looked like a winner throughout the weekend, sporting a variety of outfits from Original Penguin (which I’ve had the opportunity to review and genuinely enjoyed) that played to the tropical, Hawaiian vibe.
