Rickie Fowler has been playing blades for more than 10 years, ever since he came off his 2010 rookie year. And, with more than several PGA Tour wins and U.S. National Team appearances, there’s little doubt that Rickie has the skill to play them.

Fortunately, though, Rickie’s commitment to playing the blades has helped Cobra bring amateur golfers some incredible forged, player irons, including the KING Forged MBs (and CB combo set).

And now Cobra will be bringing some of the most player-focused irons that you’ve probably ever laid your eyes on to market:

The Rev33 irons made their public debut at the 2020 PGA Merchandise Show, and are the result of more than a year of hard work to help debut a product that “inspires confidence” in Rickie.

The zero offset, traditional lofted irons are gorgeous, and likely belong only in the hands of someone who possesses a PGA Tour card, but can be purchased by anyone willing to part with $2,500 for exact replicas of the irons Rickie is currently gaming.

For that considerably sum, Cobra is offering a right-hand only set, 4 through Pitching Wedge, equipped with KBS’ C-Taper shafts and Golf Pride Align grips fitted with Cobra Connect powered by Arccos (custom shafts and grips are available).  The limited edition iron set will be shipped in an equally custom box, honoring the partnership between Fowler and Cobra, which is also topped with a signed certificate of authenticity.

And if you’re wondering what else comes with a signed card to justify the $2,500 price tag, Cobra’s packed these blades with a lot more technology those MacGregor sitting in the back of your grandpa’s garage.  Specifically, the heads are 100% CNC milled, ensuring the tightest of manufacturing tolerances available (which aligns with Cobra’s big shift into manufacturing technologies like CNC milling and 3D printing, as demonstrated with the recently released, 3D-printed putter).  Indeed, each head allegedly takes over 2 ½ hours.

Additionally, the Rev33s have the tungsten toe plugs that made an appearance in the KING Forged MBs/CBs and help fine tune CG location, heightened feel and add some forgiveness.

Ever since golf became a competitive outlet, nothing brings Eric more joy than a well struck 4 iron. And despite living in NYC, Eric makes it a priority to work on his game and fitness during the week, along with a round or two over the weekend. Fortunately, he’s got a very understanding fiancé who (for the time being) accepts him and his obsession. Follow Eric on IG @hozel_rocket.
