TaylorMade has been a heavy hitter this year with new equipment, especially the SIM2 which has received incredible acclaim. Now, they add a new wedge to their already stacked line-up.

The Hi-Toe RAW Wedge is a perfect combination of  technology that TaylorMade has rolled out over the last few years. The Hi-Toe has been a popular club in many PGA TOUR bags, including Collin Morikawa when he became the PGA Championship winner at Harding Park. The RAW technology allows the club face to rust over time which increases spin, allowing the player to have more control over shots from the fairway, and around the green.

The new Hi-Toe features a ZTP RAW Groove design. The grooves are narrow, sharp, and deeper, ensuring more spin around the greens, specifically in wet conditions.

The Hi-Toe design of the wedge allows TaylorMade to move the center of gravity higher in the face, which is engineered to create a lower ball flight, and more spin. The combination of those two shot characteristics again provide the player with maximum control over distance and dispersion.

Specifications

The Aged Copper finish of the new Hi-Toe is one of my favorite features of the wedge, and would look good in any golf bag.

I grew up in southern New Hampshire, where I first fell in love with the game of golf. I started by just going out and messing around with my buddies and focusing purely on having a good time! I never took golf seriously until I moved down to Tampa, FL to attend the University of South Florida. Go Bulls! At the start of my junior year I got a job working as a cart boy at a local private country club. This is when I started to focus on golf becoming my career. During the fall of my senior year, I turned from a 14 handicap, to a 2. I passed the PAT scoring test my first try and haven't looked back.
