FIRST LOOK: TITLEIST INTRODUCES THE NEXT GENERATION T-SERIES IRONS

Today it was announced that the much anticipated next-generation of the Titleist T Series irons will begin Tour validation this week.

The first stop will be the Travelers Championship, where Titleist will work closely with the worlds best players to get them even more dialed in with sleeker designs and incredible technology. Players will be working hard with R&D members on site to fit the T-Series irons and U-Series utility iron.

The team at Titleist R&D have been working on these irons for two years now and it’s exciting for me (since I play the current T Series myself) to see how these new Titleist T100, T100•S and U•505 utility irons perform.

All models are now available to PGA Tour players to use in competition, with the first opportunity coming this Thursday in at TPC River Highlands. The new T200 irons are expected join the iron lineup on Tour in the next few weeks.

Titleist has continued to be an equipment leader on the PGA TOUR and they’ve even captured the iron count at every Tour event this season, averaging more than 28 percent of all sets in play each week. That’s pretty darn impressive.

Did you know that the T100 irons are the most played single model with more than 10 percent of all sets in play this season? This club has certainly earned a ton of trust on Tour pretty quickly.

Titleist Golf Club R&D reps will be on site over the next few weeks to gather feedback from the game’s best players as they test the new products, determine the model that best fits their game, and gather additional feedback.
