REPORT: Greg Norman to Step Aside as LIV Golf Lines up New Frontman?
According to a report by the Telegraph’s James Corrigan, Greg Norman may be brushed aside as LIV Golf searches for a new CEO.
🚨#NEW: Greg Norman could soon be out as CEO of LIV GOLF as the league is reportedly pursuing former TaylorMade CEO Mark King to potentially step in to the role. (Via @TelegraphSport)

First in line for the role is Mark King, the former Taylormade CEO who worked his way up from sales rep over a 25-year career and propelled Taylormade into one of the largest golf brands worldwide. King then moved on to Adidas North America in 2018 and is currently Taco Bell CEO. The Fire Pit Collective reported that King had attended several LIV events throughout 2022, and he certainly has a head for business as LIV Golf looks to grow further in 2023.
From dead in the water to an important part of the future of golf all in 8 months. #LIVGolf has only just begun.
It’s time for the major forces in golf to make the good of the game we all love the priority. @LIVGolfInv will continue to do its part.

Although the Shark may have to step aside, he can be credited with the signing of huge names like Cam Smith and Dustin Johnson to LIV golf, allowing it to expand rapidly in its pilot season. Perhaps a back-office role awaits…
