In Case You Forgot, Match IV is Tonight at 5 PM ET – What to Expect…

It’s time for another match. What started with Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson battling it out in Las Vegas, has now become a TV extravaganza with countless celebrities and super-star teams. This time around Phil Mickelson and Tom Brady (the greatest human being to ever grace this planet) will take on the caddie-less science boy Bryson DeChambeau and Brady’s son, Aaron Rodgers.

Anyway, this isn’t football, this is golf. A whole different animal. And I can’t wait to watch the 2 greatest quarterbacks of this generation go toe-to-toe on the tee box.

The boys will be playing at the Reserve at Moonlight Basin in Big Sky. The angulation changes around this track are insane, and that’s one of the reasons Phil chose it as the host venue. He figured that Bryson may have some trouble calculating distance. What a move by Lefty. The course also features a 777 yard Par 5, so that’ll be fun.

Just like last time, I expect all the guys to be mic’d up, and have the ability to talk to the broadcast team. I hope that’s the case, because we got the best moment between Brady and Chuck the last time Tom played in the Match…

I love watching that video whenever I get the chance, Tom is just the best.

The format is modified alternate shot, which is perfect for an event like this. There will also be challenges throughout the Match including a long-drive, one club challenge, and closest to the pin.

Betting wise: Aaron Rodgers/Bryson DeChambeau (-192)  Tom Brady/Phil Mickelson (+146) – Fanduel

Rodgers and DeChambeau are the better team when it comes to ability. But, they’re not who I’m betting on. I think Brady/Phil is the easiest bet of the century (don’t come crying to me if they lose tho). Brady dominates Rodgers. Puts him in his lap, tells him a bedtime story, and lays him in bed for the night. I also think Bryson is mentally weak. Tom and Phil are some of the best trash-talkers of all-time, and once they get going, I think it’s gonna be going right at DeChambeau. Bryson will try to come back and say stuff, it’ll be awful and land flat, and that’s when he’ll start to break.

I can picture it now – all the guys having a good time, Bryson tries to come in and drop a chirp, and all of America stops laughing.

Excited to see who comes up on top this time around. Will you be tuning in?

I grew up in southern New Hampshire, where I first fell in love with the game of golf. I started by just going out and messing around with my buddies and focusing purely on having a good time! I never took golf seriously until I moved down to Tampa, FL to attend the University of South Florida. Go Bulls! At the start of my junior year I got a job working as a cart boy at a local private country club. This is when I started to focus on golf becoming my career. During the fall of my senior year, I turned from a 14 handicap, to a 2. I passed the PAT scoring test my first try and haven't looked back.
