John Daly is having quite the eventful week. First, he made his first PGA TOUR cut in almost three years and now he’s releasing his new product on the market.

Everyone knows that Daly is a big fan of drinking, and he’s taken that hobby of his into the business world.

It was announced a few months ago that Daly would be coming out with a new drink but the release date finally arrived on Tuesday. Daly’s new “Grip It and Sip It” drink that comes in two flavors, Hard Tea and Half and Half.

The Hard Tea flavor is basically a Twisted Tea, a tea that has been mixed with alcohol and the Half and Half flavor has existed for quite a while without an official name, but as it’s simply an alcoholic Arnold Palmer.

Both drinks carry quite a good bit of liquid courage, as the 16 fluid ounce cans contain 8% alcohol content. For reference, a Four Loco contains about 12% alcohol in the same size can.

Daly announced the release of the drinks on his Instagram page, telling people to start drinking official John Daly’s. “My official drink is finally here!! If you’re gonna enjoy a John Daly, make sure it’s the real deal! Tested, Retested and mixed just right,” Daly wrote. He also cautioned those who enjoy them, telling fans to “be careful though 1 just isn’t enough!”

Unlike most alcoholic beverages, Daly claims that his drinks will actually allow you to hit a straight 300-yard drive with no problem. He claims that because he has personally tested the theory himself in typical Daly fashion. For anyone who wants to test that theory, the Grip It & Sip It is available at your local beer distributor.

While Arnold Palmer’s were certainly good, I think Daly may have perfected the drink a little bit better for the golf course. Next time you hit the links, make sure to grab a pack for you and some buddies to enjoy.
