While johnnie-O has been around for 20 years, there’s no doubting that the brand has garnered much more attention in recent years with the help of golf-specific offerings and partnerships with up-and-coming professionals, like Michael LaSasso, and influencers, including St. Andre and Peter Finch.

And to help usher in the next 20 years of johnnie-O, the brand is debuting its Spring/Summer 2025 lineup, which is comprised of a range of pieces that each feel as good as they look.

Starting with top layers, johnnie-O is offering a mix of 1/4 Zips, Hoodies, Sweaters, and Jackets that come in a range of colors, constructions, and weights—meaning there’s an option for every scenario.

Two pieces that particularly stood out to me are the Kester Textured Hoodie (available in Grey) and Hanks “Lightweight Sully” 1/4 Zip Pullover (pictured in Navy).

The Kester is the perfect daily-use layer that’ll keep you warm when you’re running to the gym, simulator or driving range, and adds a touch of style with a textured weave that helps it stand apart from the mainstream hoodie design. The Hanks 1/4 Zip, meanwhile, is a lighter construction, making it perfect for those cool mornings and evenings, whether you’re getting ready to tee off or preparing for a few fireside beverages with friends and family.

Pivoting to polos, there are numerous options and designs, meaning there’s a johnnie-O for every situation conceivable. But there are three I’d like to highlight: the Featherweight Performance Polo, Performance Jersey Polo and Johnny Collar Cotton Polo.

The Featherweight Performance Polo (pictured on the left) is the lightest polo johnnie-O offers, but still features moisture-wicking, breathable, and UPF resistance material, making it perfect for those warmer days. But what makes this Featherweight particularly noteworthy is the “Top O’ The Morning” pattern that’s drawing on its Irish-roots in advance of St. Patrick’s Day.

The Performance Jersey Polo (pictured on the top right) is their “staple” performance polo; it features moisture-wicking, breathable, wrinkle and SPF resistance materials, and comes in a wide range of patterns and colors. For me, the “Tee Time Print” is a favorite, as it speaks directly to my eagerness for golf season to resume, and is available in three great colorways—Barrels Blue and Thunder (pictured below) are more reserved. At the same time, Malibu adds a splash of color.

The Johnny Collar Cotton Polo (pictured above on the bottom left) is the perfect polo for when you need something casual and laid back, but a t-shirt would be too laid back. The Johnny Collar features a 60s-style color and button pocket that brings a SoCal casual vibe.

The last piece I’ll cover is a must for people who need sleeves or something a little more dressed-up than a polo. To explain, johnnie-O offers a range of long and short sleeve button-ups, but what makes them special is a design feature I’ve never seen elsewhere before: the Tweener Button. Regardless of color or pattern, johnnie-O’s button-ups feature a carefully placed button that allows you to leave the top button unfastened, but in a way that doesn’t result in the “Miami Vice” deep open shirt. The Tweener Button, instead, lets you wear a button up in a casual way that still looks like it belongs, whether you’re out to dinner or having some casual post-round drinks on the clubhouse patio.

This is just a snapshot of the Spring/Summer 2025 Lineup, so make sure to head over to johnnie-O’s website or your local retailer, like PGA Tour SuperStore, to put together a fresh look.
