Keegan Bradley Makes Admission That LIV Golf Fans Will Approve Of
Keegan Bradley made an admission that will have LIV Golf fans extremely happy.
Bradley, who was named Ryder Cup Captain for the Americans heading into next year’s event at Bethpage Black, admitted that he does not care who you are or where you play, if you’re going to help the U.S. win, he wants you on the team:
Bradley said on the Fore Play Podcast:
“I am of the firm belief that I want the best players in the team. Next year at this time, who knows what we’re looking at here, in terms of LIV-PGA Tour. I’m in no private conversations, I know nothing. I think I owe it to the team to have the best players on the team. Now that could mean LIV players, it could mean it doesn’t. It’s gonna depend on who’s ready to go.”
Some controversy arose during the Ryder Cup in Rome last year as some felt that Captain Zach Johnson did not put the best team forward. He snubbed players from the PGA TOUR who had better seasons statistically than some players who made the team, including Bradley.
“I just want the 12 best players.”

However, he also left out guys like Bryson DeChambeau, who was playing extremely well, and many believe it was because of his involvement with LIV Golf.
It does not seem like there will be the same issue moving forward, as Bradley is focused on bringing the Ryder Cup back to American possession:
“I know there’s guys on LIV who are motivated to win the Ryder Cup. I have no idea how that’s going to shake out, I just want the 12 best players.”
Bradley seems like the most ideal and level-headed captain the Americans could have chosen due to this point of view specifically. Putting differences aside and attempting to put the best team forward is most important when it comes to the Ryder Cup. It is not specifically catered to PGA TOUR players, especially as Brooks Koepka made the team last year, mostly due to his high point position thanks to his victory at Oak Hill and the PGA Championship.
