Atul Khosla was the well-established sports executive that was responsible for steering LIV Golf towards TV deals going forward for 2023. Despite LIV’s success in their first year, they didn’t manage to acquire any TV deals that are necessary to flourish long term. He was the business head that was tasked with turning the four-person teams into franchises, giving some credibility to the cheesy names and logos, and opening up a revenue stream for LIV Golf.
Not small news. Khosla left an exec job with the Tampa Buccaneers to guide LIV Golf to viability. Northwestern MBA. He had deep belief in the power of the team concept and believed corporate sponsorships were around the corner. Now, he’s out. https://t.co/DSq6nNYkWu

Greg Norman issued a statement saying that ‘A.K’ had decided to move on from LIV. This news comes a week after LIV spokesperson Jonathan Grella stated:
“Our business plan is built upon a path to profitability. We have a nice, long runway and we’re taking off.”
A week later, the COO departed, meaning LIV has hit a huge bump at the very start of their launch pad 2023 season.
