Last fall she had surgery to repair her injured wrist but recovery has been slow. In her statement on Instagram and Twitter she said “It was a difficult decision to make because the US Open was one that I was looking forward to playing in all year, but my recovery and health is the priority.”

Wie is one of the most popular players on the LPGA. She has been a wonderful role model for young ladies worldwide. Wie remains optimistic that she will be back on tour later this year and this withdrawal should be just a minor setback in her recovery. The LPGA will kick off their US Open on May 30th when Ariya Jutanugarn will be aiming to defend her 2018 U.S. Open title.

Since then Ed has committed himself to improving and learning more about the game. He doesn’t work in the golf industry, he’s not a teaching pro, he’s a guy who just loves the game and enjoys sharing his thoughts with others who share the same passion.
