This is the first apparel contract for the company on the Men’s PGA Tour; and makes a lot of sense. The brand prides itself on comfort and a sleek style, starting off promoting yoga and running attire before transitioning into winter sports for the Canadian Olympic teams.
Former world number one on the LPGA Lydia Ko signed a deal with lululemon in 2019, using the apparel for yoga off the course and deciding the comfort would be optimal on the course as well.
So, just to catch you up, 2024 is eleven days old, and Tiger Woods and Jason Day have departed from Nike Golf, the latter promoting Malbon attire, which has also signed English LPGA superstar Charley Hull. Xander Schauffele has left Adidas and now lululemon have entered the game via hotshot Min Woo Lee. Greyson, Descente, Malbon, and now lululemon, the apparel game is shifting for 2024.
Let him cook!
