What Shoes Are Nike Athletes Wearing at The Masters in 2024?
As always, Nike has some of their athletes at Augusta National Golf Club in a special edition colorway for The 88th edition of The Masters. Last year, Nike blessed us all with one of the coolest themes yet, playing on the Georgia Peach with the motto “Always Fresh” on each of its limited edition pairs.
This year, Nike went with something different. It may not be quite on theme with the colors of The Masters, but the message is undoubtedly the same: “For the Endless Pursuit.”
Three Options
Nike has gone with three options this year, offering the Air Zoom Infinity Tour, the Air Zoom Victory Tour, and the Air Pegasus ’89 G NRG for consumers to choose from.
They all three have different advantages and styles, but they all three share the same common colorway: Summit White/Daybreak/White/Black, and theme: “For the Endless Pursuit.”
Air Zoom Infinity Tour
You’ll see Brooks Koepka in the Air Zoom Infinity Tour throughout the weekend, and they are usually his go to model. Offering a solid look, the practicality of this particular model gives three advantages: a Dynamic Response, Breathable Comfort, and Optimal Grip.
Dynamic Response
A forefoot Air Zoom unit responds to every step. Because it’s not fully enclosed, the Air unit can move with your foot, allowing for better energy return when you push off through your swing.
Breathable Comfort
Breathable textile helps your foot stay cool. The material hugs and supports you through every step for extra support and comfort. A plush, padded collar helps reduce heel slip while you move.
Optimal Grip
A supportive plate with six integrated spikes and a data-informed traction pattern give you exceptional grip. We placed the spikes under the Air Zoom unit for better energy return and added comfort throughout your round.
One thing remains, and that’s the fact these shoes encapsulate one idea: “For the Endless Pursuit.”
Nike Air Zoom Victory Tour 3 NRG
Rory McIlroy is a routine wearer of the Air Zoom Victory Tour 3 NRG, and he’s wearing them this week at Augusta.

McIlroy is currently on the pursuit of his first Green Jacket, which would complete the Career Grand Slam.
The Air Zoom Victory Tour NRG have the Summit White/Barely Grape/Daybreak/Black colorway. They also feature exceptional grip, all-round response, and old-school look, and a secure feel.
Feel the Grip
The Tour Flex Pro from Softspikes® in the key 3 forefoot spike locations and Silver Tornado spikes in the lateral and heel offer exceptional traction in all conditions and give your feet great grip on the ground when you’re going all out for the pin.
All-Round Response
We stitched an Air Zoom unit directly to the upper instead of being set into foam, so it responds to every step. A full-length plate beneath the Air unit helps increase energy return. Cushiony foam under the heel delivers a smooth ride.
Old-School Look
Full-grain leather has a supple feel and sophisticated look, nodding to golf shoes from past generations.
Secure Feel
An internal strap stretches over then secures your foot, conforming to its shape.
Just like Rory, these shoes are under the same premise as the rest of the lineup: “For the Endless Pursuit.”
Nike Air Pegasus ’89 G NRG
The Air Pegasus ’89 G NRG are fresh, and feature an Air Max-type design and feel. They have a larger, nearly raised heel, and I haven’t seen them on anyone in The Masters field this week yet.
“As the seasons start to change and the links start to stir, prepare to stroll in true splendor. This special design is new luxe come to life, a look at the game through a different, lavish lens with iridescent and glossy finishes. Transform your game in a design that melds the vintage vibes of yesteryear with our game-breaking golf technology.”
Soft and Smooth
The midsole is made up of two soft, yet supportive foams in the forefoot and heel. There’s a hidden Zoom Air unit in the heel as well.
Stay Dry
Synthetic leather overlays combined with stretchy material and mesh help keep your feet dry.
Grippy Traction
The wet rubber Integrated traction pattern is inspired by the original Peg ’89 but elevated for golf, offering great grip in any condition.
Whether you’re vying for a Green Jacket at Augusta or trying to beat your friends in your weekly rivalry, one thing remains: This lineup encapsulates on message — “For the Endless Pursuit.”
