Nike Debuts 2024 PGA Championship-Inspired Shoe Collection

The second Major of 2024 is only days away. And as the crowd begins to congregate in Kentucky at Valhalla Golf Club, the rest of us can take advantage of the limited edition releases from equipment, apparel, and accessory brands.

Nike is leading the charge right now. It has just debuted limited edition versions of the Air Zoom Infinity Tour NEXT NRG, Air Pegasus ’89 NRG, and Air Zoom Victory Tour 3 NRG.

Like similar, Major-themed releases, Nike has taken design influences from Kentucky, a state very well known for its bourbon, stating:

“This special edition Infinity Tour has barrel-aged bourbon browns and smoked streaks of razor-sharp oranges that nod to Kentucky. A wood grain graphic on the Swoosh logo and a tree trunk-inspired outsole highlight a design rooted in tradition and timber.”

The grey, white, and beige colors combine to give off a mature, gentlemanly vibe unique to Kentucky. This vibe is further accentuated by the exposed stitching on the wood grain Swoosh.

Each of the three models also features a unique insole that further expands on the bourbon barrel influence, featuring a wood grain panel design.

All three models are available right now on Nike.com and through select retailers online, including Trendy Sports and Carl’s Golfland.
