PGA Memes Made an Amazing $1 Million Donation to a Texas Children’s Hospital
In 2018, Dallas resident Travis Miller created the PGA Memes account on Instagram as a way to show off his humor and enjoyment of the game of golf.
But somewhere along the line, PGA Memes became a whole lot more than just another “meme account”…
In four years, Travis has picked up nearly 900,000 followers and has become one of the most popular golf pages on the platform.
To give back to the North Texas community, Miller donated an incredible $1 million to support the expansion of the Children’s Medical Center Plano, which is the hospital that treated two of his children in the past.
The expansion of the hospital is set to triple its capacity (72 to 212 beds) and will be finished in 2024.

“It’s truly been incredible to see the opportunities that have come from the PGA Memes platform over the past couple of years,” Miller said. “Nothing stands out more or is more rewarding than doing charity work for children in need.”
Much of the money has been raised through the PGA Memes Challenge, which is a 4-man scramble fundraiser that’s being held in West Palm Beach, Florida on Oct. 24 this year.
We’ll leave you with the latest PGA Memes offering that features Tom Kim and Tiger Woods—the last two golfers to have won multiple PGA Tour events before turning 21 after Kim joined that club with his win at the Shriners Children’s Open in Las Vegas on Sunday.
