Phil Mickelson’s HyFlyers Announces New Apparel Partner
Last week, we discussed how many brands are starting to warm up to LIV and, in the weeks leading up to the first 2025 LIV event, announcing new brand partnerships.
While Greyson hasn’t announced anything after Cam Smith and Jon Rahm were both spotted wearing team-branded gear, Reebok made a big splash when it announced a partnership with Bryson DeChambeau and Crushers GC.

Phil Mickelson, however, wouldn’t let you forget about him. Early this morning, Phil announced that the HyFlyers GC would be partnering with Primo Golf Apparel—an apparel brand that YouTuber Grant Horvat is a partial owner of.
Of all the recent announcements, this might be the least surprising in that Phil and Grant had made a bet last year that ended with Phil having to wear joggers at the Open Championship.

But it seems that the YouTube challenge was merely the beginning of this relationship, as Grant and Phil have also announced that they’ll be starting a 2v2 series against other professional and high-profile golfers this year.

It’s worth noting that this is now the second “YouTube golfers become professional golf sponsor” announcement in as many weeks. Indeed, only a few days ago, Good Good Golf broke this barrier when it announced that it would be sponsoring Joel Dahmen, John Pak, Beau Hossler, Willie Mack III ,and Michael Block.
Now, we can’t guarantee that the HyFlyers will look great in joggers this year, but what we can safely say is that the most prominent YouTube golfers aren’t your childish influencers. It’s becoming more and more clear that the best in the game recognize their business potential and are successfully leveraging it.
