REPORT: LIV Purchased Land In North Augusta To Build Championship Venue
While many former champions who now play under the LIV Golf banner will be taking part in the Masters this spring, whether the league will be a permanent part of the United States’ most prestigious golf tournament remains to be seen.
If LIV fails to earn Official World Golf Ranking points, many of its players won’t be eligible for majors.
In December, one LIV official commented that they could make their own majors.
Now, an unconfirmed report hints at something like that happening.

Could Greg Norman and company be planning on building their own golf course in Augusta, Georgia?

LIV playing in North Augusta the week before or after the golf world descends upon Augusta National Golf Club? The storylines write themselves.
As of now, this year’s Masters will feature former champions like Dustin Johnson, Phil Mickelson, Patrick Reed, and Sergio Garcia, along with Open Championship winner Cameron Smith, who is eligible for the next five years.
