REVIEW: Blue Tees Golf | The Rangefinders You Need to Check Out
I’ve used every rangefinder under the sun – and there are a few things I’ve discovered. 1. The really cheap ones, are really bad. And No.2, paying $500 for a rangefinder doesn’t make any sense, and in no world should you do it.
At the end of 2020, I had Drew from Blue Tees Golf on my podcast, Twilight 9, to discuss the brand. To be honest, before that call, I didn’t know much about it. But after talking with Drew, I understood why this product is gaining popularity, fast. Their rangefinders are the perfect blend of elite performance, and wallet friendly.
Let’s start with their baseline model, the Series 2.

The S2 has numerous qualities that match with any brand you can think of. It’s Pulse and Vibration feature allows you to hit your next shot with complete confidence that you got the right number. On top of that, the range is spectacular. Anything within 800 yards, and this thing can get you the digits. And maybe the best part, it’s water resistant. No more do you have to walk off yardages just because you and your group are pushing through bit of a storm – this thing can handle it all.
If you’re looking for an upgrade, Blue Tees has your back – they also carry a slope model.

The Series 2 Pro Slope contains all the amazing features that the base line Series 2 has, but it will also calculate the yardage based off elevation change. This addition is useful in countless different ways. Downhill Par 3? More accurate number. Elevated tee and think your driver can reach the bunker? More accurate number. Uphill approach needing to carry a front bunker? More accurate number.
Now, the price. These rangefinders, both with top of the line qualities and features, come in at $189 and $219, respectfully. For comparison, Bushnell’s cheapest model (which doesn’t contain Slope adjustment) is $300.
To me, Blue Tees just gets it. They understand the direction golf is headed. New people are getting into the game everyday, and may not have the money for a rangefinder, or just don’t want to spend too much. So they created a product that keeps up with the big guys on the performance level, and beats them (badly) in the price department. And their design. Their design is simple, and sleek. It’s not just another thing hanging off of your bag, it’s something that can stand out.

In my first round with my Series 2 Pro Slope, my playing partner asked me about it on the second tee box. By the end of the round, he was looking into getting one.
During that same round, the performance delivered. Time and time again. I couldn’t recommend it enough to anyone looking to get a new rangefinder for themselves, or someone in their family that loves the game.
