Fowler, a former winner at the Waste Management Open in 2019, is making huge strides in the 2022-2023 season. It all started with making some changes within his core group, including his caddie and swing coach, at the end of 2022.

Rickie made the hard decision of cutting ties with good friend and caddie Joe Skovron for a new face in Ricky Romano. He also let go of his swing coach John Tillery and reunited with world-renowned Butch Harmon.

All of these choices have been paying dividends.

In the previous two seasons, Fowler only recorded two top 10s in 46 events played. A rough showing for the 5-time PGA Tour winner. However, Fowler is already turning it around in a short time.

In only seven events played this season, he has finished top 10 three times to date and nearly won the ZOZO Championship just a few months ago. Not only that, he notched in the third top 10 this weekend, along with an impressive ace on the 7th hole from 216 yards away.

Fowler still has time to qualify for the Masters, which he has not played since 2020. He either needs to up his world golf ranking inside the top 50 the week prior to the Masters, in which he currently sits 80th. The other possibility is to win a PGA Tour event before the Masters begins in the second week of April.

Will the 34-year-old veteran pull it off?
