Rickie Fowler Will Be Wearing Special Shoes to Honor Arnie at Bay Hill

With the Arnold Palmer Invitational coming up here in just a few days, many players likely have a something special planned to honor the King of Golf, and Rickie Fowler is one player who will not disappoint.

Fowler is never shy when wearing some loud clothes, as illustrated by his typical bright orange Sunday outfit. So in his own way, Fowler will be honoring one of golf’s biggest legends by wearing some pretty epic shoes. The shoes that Fowler will be wearing are a tribute to “Arnie’s Army” with a little bit of Rickie’s own personal flair.

Teaming up with the designers at Puma and the official Arnie’s Army, Fowler has a new high top, special edition shoe that he’ll be wearing at Bay Hill this week. They’re a white base with a vibrant green accent that will also include many of Palmer’s trademarks, most notably the iconic umbrella with the pink trim.

The shoes aren’t just available for Fowler either. Rickie and Puma made sure that there were only two of these pairs of shoes made, one will stay with Fowler and the other will be given to a lucky fan. Details of how to enter the contest to win Rickie’s shoes are available in the tweet above and all entries will go towards a good cause.

Other than the shoes, Puma also created some snapback hats that will be available at Bay Hill. The hat will feature a shadow of a young Palmer including each year he won a tournament and how many times he won that year. 62 hats will be available for sale, the same number of career victories for the legend, and 175 will be given away.

The golf at Bay Hill will certainly be fun to watch this weekend but the giveaways also look to be a big hit. If you want a chance to win any of the Arnie apparel, make sure to enter into the contests by the start of the tournament.
