We know that Tiger Woods has been practicing at Southern Hills in Tulsa, Oklahoma, in anticipation of next weekend’s PGA Championship, but there’s another golfer testing out the course—and to impressive results.

Scottie Scheffler, the Masters champion, a four-time winner on the PGA Tour this year, and No. 1 in the Official World Golf Rankings, played the course last week, and the resident pro at Southern Hills gave a glowing review, which should come as no surprise.

Scheffler was caddied by course pro Cameron Chhim, who said that Scheffler “made it look easy,” playing one ball, taking no practice putts, and shooting 7-under in wet conditions.

After making the turn at 1-under, Scheffler birdied six holes on the back nine to card a 64.

Scheffler, who won four of six starts from the WM Phoenix Open in February to last month’s Masters Tournament, is no stranger to Southern Hills either. He won the 2015 Big 12 title while a collegiate golfer at the University of Texas.

Scheffler is playing the AT&T Byron Nelson this week in his home state of Texas, where he’s the betting favorite. He is also the consensus favorite to win the PGA Championship, sitting at +1000 odds at FanDuel over Jon Rahm and Rory McIlroy at +1200.
