Streamsong Announces Fifth Course
Streamsong is, arguably, Florida’s most impressive and top golf resort. What was a phosphate mining site a few years ago has been converted into a golf resort that features three courses that are regularly near the top of Best Courses You Can Play in the U.S.
And Streamsong is announcing that a fifth-act is in the near future.

Earlier today, Streamsong announced that it will be building its fourth 18-hole course (or fifth course after including The Chain, a 19-hole short course), which David McLay Kidd will design.

While the name may not ring a bell, David’s work speaks for itself. Indeed, we are talking about the man who helped make places like Bandon Dunes (Bandon Dunes), Mammoth Dunes (Sand Valley), and The Castle Course (St. Andrews) a reality.

It is worth noting that The Mosaic Company, who previously owned and mined the site that Streamsong was built upon, sold the Streamsong Resort to Kemper Sports Management LLC back in January 2023. Since then, Kemper has continued to invest in the property with the development of The Chain.
The site is situated between Streamsong’s Black (which Mike and Frank found was “unlike anything else”) and Red (their Streamsong favorite) Courses, with construction expected to start in the near future. But no matter when this new, unnamed course opens, I can assure you that Golficity will be there.
