STYLE: ECCO GOLF Launches BIOM H4

We’re weeks away from the 2021 Masters, which means that it’s time to start getting everything ready for the 2021 golf season to get underway. And to make sure you’re ready to tackle whatever conditions you’ll be facing, ECCO Golf is releasing the newest addition to its BIOM lineup: the BIOM H4.

Featuring the new BIOM 2.0, the BIOM H4 design offers a modern, updated look and feel with low-to-the-ground stability, anatomical support, and a glove-like fit via BIOM NATURAL MOTION Technology that enables the foot to move naturally.

“Although BIOM H4 maintains the excellent comfort the BIOM line is known for, it also has many new design features that are a notch above the rest,” says Jesper Thuen, General Manager, ECCO GOLF USA. “The evolution of the BIOM family continues to showcase why ECCO is a leader in golf shoe innovation.”

Among the new features, the BIOM H4 are equipped with new ECCO MTN GRIP outsole includes three sections to provide the ideal blend of traction, ground penetration and rotational support, while ECCO FLUIDFORM Direct Comfort Technology ensures a finely-tuned balance of cushioning and rebound to deliver dynamic comfort.

It’s worth noting that the FLUIDFORM Technology, which first made its appearance last year in the S-THREEs, incorporate specialized fluid materials to form around an anatomical last, ensuring a finely tuned balance of cushioning and rebound, while also creating a flexible and durable bond without the compromises common with stitched or glued assemblies.

Additionally, the BIOM H4 comes with X-TENSA INVISIBLE Technology that links the sole unit’s T.PU blocks—which adds stability and some vibrant color accenting—to the lacing system via internal enforcement for 360° stability.

And since it’ll be near impossible to get the BIOM H4s off your feet, ECCO has incorporated a removable, washable (see clean and fresh) Ortholite foam inlay sole that provides long-term cushioning and superior breathability, plus the option of extra width when removed.

The BIOM H4 is offered in 4 colorways for both men and women, and will be available this March. Initial retail price will be $200, and will be backed by ECCO’s premium, 100% waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX leather.
