The adidas Golf CODECHAOS have been, arguably, the biggest golf shoe of 2020. Since premiering at the PGA Show in January 2020, the proprietary, spikeless Twistgrip traction system and multi-layer mesh upper have been a highly sought after shoe that has led adidas to release several, stylish limited edition models, including the Summer of Golf and Nations Pack.

Now, adidas is releasing a new pair: the TOKYO Collection.

To help celebrate the return of sports and the fact that exactly one year from today, thousands of the world’s best athletes – including 120 golfers – will finally be in Tokyo to get their chance at competing for a coveted spot on the Olympic podium. While the COVID pandemic has delayed the summer games for an additional 365 days, athletes have one more year to stay ready with the mindset to keep putting in one more workout, one more lap, one more rep, or even one more bucket of balls in the hopes of bringing home a gold medal.

The TOKYO Collection, which is made up of 41 footwear silhouettes across 19 sports (e.g., Volleyball, Weightlifting and Running), has been purposefully designed in a signal pink colorway meant to connect athletes without words. While the footwear was originally intended to be worn in Tokyo by all adidas athletes during their respective Olympic events this year, the repurposed collection now seeks to unite this same community in a different way as they continue to train and inspire in preparation for 2021.

As briefly mentioned above, adidas Golf is releasing a limited edition CODECHAOS model in this signal pink colorway for both men ($170) and women ($150). The limited-edition footwear are available today for both men and women, but only while supplies last on adidas.com and via the adidas app.
