Style: TAG Heuer Connected Calibre E4 45mm x Malbon Golf Edition Brings Culture
Malbon Golf has been kicking in the door this year. The brand went full bore when it announced its first professional partnerships with PGA TOUR golfer Jason Day and LPGA golfer Charley Hull, and then followed that up by announced a limited, special-edition collection with adidas Golf. Malbon, however, appears to have a lot more in the pipeline for this year.

TAG Heuer is known for their premium, stylish Swiss watches. And in 2022, the brand wanted to bring their watches to the golf course with the release of the Connected Calibre E4 45mm. But TAG has now partnered with Malbon to release a timepiece that exudes playfulness and innovation.
Like the previous Golf Edition Connected, the new TAG Heuer Connected Calibre E4 45mm x Malbon Golf Edition begins with a 45mm wide case in matte black DLC coated Grade 2 titanium. The watch draws inspiration from another timeless TAG, the Carrera, and features tapering inwardly-beveled lugs and trim arcing case sides. But where the Malbon Connected Calibre E4, undoubtedly, sets itself apart is its use of color.

The Malbon Connected Calibre E4’s ceramic comes with 18 holes adorned with engraved Arabic numerals in turquoise here, accented by dividing markers and a 12 o’clock TAG Heuer shield emblem in pale canary yellow. The ultralight titanium case is sporty, and is equipped with ergonomic black and yellow steel pushers that make this the ideal watch for your time out on the green. The watch is coupled with a lush green and lime bi-material leather and rubber strap that’s finished with white stitching.

The Malbon Connected Calibre E4 isn’t all show and no go, though. Indeed, the caseback features a suite of sensors, including a heart rate monitor, compass, accelerometer, gyroscope, barometer and a built-in microphone. As a result, the watch offers wearers an impressively holistic array of fitness tracking capabilities, including TAG Heuer’s bespoke sports and wellness apps, and the full capabilities of the Google Wear OS 3 operating system.
TAG is claiming that battery performance will make sure you can stay on the course all day; a solid 24 hours of battery life on a 90-minute full charge, even while using traditionally power-hungry wellness monitoring apps.
This limited-edition TAG Heuer Connected Calibre E4 45MM x Malbon Golf Edition will be available at three boutiques in the U.S. (and two in Korea) for $2,350 each. And while that price tag may be a little steep compared to other golf wearables, there’s no doubting that this is a TAG Heuer that sports a level of style that cannot be found elsewhere.
