TaylorMade Just Unveiled its New $1.6 mil Luxury Tour Truck
If there are two things that golf equipment companies love to do, it’s first creating state of the art golf clubs, and then flaunting those clubs for the public. And TaylorMade is looking to do both with their new investment.
If you haven’t been to many PGA TOUR tournaments in person, it might surprise you to learn that most top equipment companies bring their own trucks, loaded with their products to these big time events. TaylorMade has used the same truck for a long time, traveling to over 350 PGA TOUR events with its legacy rig. And with all the miles that come with those journeys around the country, it seems like an upgrade was more than needed.
This upgrade is huge, however, with TaylorMade introducing the largest truck of its kind.
The new TaylorMade traveling Tour truck is a whopping 42 feet long, weighs in at 22 tons, and cost approximately $1.6 million to create. The truck was designed and inspired by Formula One racers, who gave it maximum capacity space and the most advanced technology available.

The outside look of the truck is amazing as it looks almost like one of those fancy tour buses that sports teams use to travel, but the real advancement comes on the inside.
When the truck is parked, it can create two side pods and a second level to the inside for TaylorMade players to enjoy in their downtime. It includes the first floor with thousands of pieces of equipment that can be worked on in a personal workshop while the upper floor has a comfy living area equipped with video games and all the refreshments you could ever need.
TaylorMade is proud of their investment because they believe it provides a unique experience for their sponsored players. “It’s a place they can not only come to have their equipment built, but a place they can come hang out and truly feel like part of the TaylorMade family,” said Keith Sbarbaro, TaylorMade’s Vice President of Tour Operations.

The new TaylorMade bus made an unveiling in Austin this week for the WGC-Dell Match Play but the official debut with all features will come at The Masters in a few weeks.
Only time will tell if this bus has any effect on TaylorMade’s players but will certainly be a party destination for any fan that dreams of hanging out with the pros. And that seems like something that was definitely worth the investment.
