TECH: Titleist Announces New Radar Capture Pro V1, Pro V1 X

Today, in partnership with Trackman, Titleist announced a new Pro V1 offering, the Pro V1 and Pro V1X RCT (Radar Capture Technology).

The ball, as mentioned, is designed to work with Trackman launch monitors (and other radar monitors most likely) in order to produce more accurate results.

Other than the added “radar reflective mark”, the balls will offer the same quality and performance of the standard.  Titleist Pro V1 lineup.

Think of the reflective stickers that you stick onto your ball to make sure Trackman is picking up your spin correctly. Well, this ball replaces that need, as Titleist has added some reflective markings underneath the outer mantle.

Initial testing by Titleist shows a “99 percent capture rate” that Titleist says delivers “true spin for even more accurate carry and total distance calculations”.

So, all in all, the new Pro V1 RCT is essentially, an easier way to get accurate Trackman numbers when indoors, minus the pain of putting on the stickers yourself.
