Tiger Woods is Set to Announce His New Apparel Next Week
Tiger Woods is set to announce his new apparel lineup next week, according to a social media post.
It was confirmed in early January that Woods would split with Nike, ending a 27-year partnership that generated perhaps billions of dollars in revenue and capped off what was one of the most notable partnerships in sports equipment in recent memory.
Woods appears ready to announce his next move:

“The Vision Remains the Same. 2.12.24,” the caption of the post reads.
What’s to Come: Sunday Red
According to trademark filings with the United States Patent and Trademark Office, Woods and TaylorMade are working on a new apparel brand that will officially be the new lineup of clothing that the 15-time Major Champion will use.
We covered the filings last month after they were found on the USPTO’s public filing database:
Spotted: Trademark Filing Reveals Tiger Woods’ next Apparel Move
Woods has been with TaylorMade since 2016 when Nike officially stopped manufacturing golf equipment. He continued his partnership with the Swoosh in terms of apparel, but was using TaylorMade clubs.
It seems TaylorMade is looking to get into the quickly expanding apparel game as many smaller companies have already made their mark on professional golf.
Malbon is just one example, as they snagged Jason Day from Nike earlier this year. Xander Schauffele left Adidas in favor of Descente. These are just two of the notable apparel moves that occurred during the offseason.
Tiger Timing
The timing of the announcement is particularly interesting considering the Monday that Woods will confirm what he is doing is the week of the Genesis Invitational, a tournament that he has long sponsored.
Woods has played in the Genesis at The Riviera most years, so it is expected that this will be his big coming out party to confirm his apparel move.
