Tom Brady Goes Nuts at Family Golf Outing
Golf is intended to be one of the most relaxing sports for someone to play, especially for a quarterback that is constantly under pressure in the NFL. That wasn’t the case this week for Tom Brady, however.
Known for leading the Patriots on some monumental drives to win close games, it looks like Brady’s golf drive could use a little more work. On an outing with his parents and niece, Brady’s Instagram story showed that he wasn’t the straight shooter he is with a football. In the story, Brady shanks two drives off of the tee and isn’t very happy with the result.
For anyone that watches football, they know that Brady can get very animated on the sidelines, in a good and bad way. On this day, his animation was in the bad sense, as he seemed to throw a bit of a tantrum in front of his family after the two slices. Luckily for Brady, however, he’s not a professional and his family was fine letting him take two mulligans.

The day wasn’t all bad for Brady, however, as his third drive ended up going straight down the fairway. He also was able to collect himself and enjoy the family outing, with another photo later showing him and his family enjoying the view of a double rainbow on the course. And we assume that after those slices, Brady had a more enjoyable round.
The video is a bit deceiving, however, because Brady has some strong testimonials for being a pretty good golfer. While he may not be playing in any PGA TOUR events like other athletes have this year, Tom has played some rounds with both Jordan Spieth and Rickie Fowler. Both of the young studs claim that Tom is pretty good and held his own with them when they played.
While Tom may have some skill, he should probably stick to winning Super Bowl championships instead of looking for Green Jackets. Maybe once he retires, he can work on that slice.
