Tony Finau has made up his mind on speculation that he will be heading to LIV Golf, after an exclusive interview with GolfWeek.

Finau revealed his plans over the phone with the publication after media has been speculating that the #26 golfer on the OGWR is on his way to LIV after withdrawing from this weekend’s Hero World Challenge.

The PGA TOUR will have Tony Finau on its roster this coming year, he confirmed, calling the rumors about his defection “not true.”

He said in full:

“They’re not true…I’m more than happy where I’m at on the PGA TOUR and looking forward to 2025. When I tee it up in Maui, it will all go away, so, I don’t worry about it one bit.”

As for his withdrawal from this weekend, he said it was due to an injury stemming from a knee surgery on October 15 to repair a torn meniscus and remove cartilage.

“From what my doctor told me it was pretty standard clean up. He said it would be helpful and so I did it.”

Finau has fended off LIV rumors for the past two seasons. We will see what happens next season.
